Tesla finally builds its first cybertruck after two years of delay. Saturday, Elon Musk’s company shared that it’d made its first Cybertruck at its Texas factory. The production is now expected to ramp up.

the truck was first introduced in a 2019 reveal where the vehicle’s designer cracked the vehicle’s supposedly unbreakable “armour glass” windows.

The company pushed back the production timing and last year revealed the shortage in sourcing components pushing the launch of the to 2023.

“Sorry for the delay, we’re finally going to start delivering production Cybertrucks later this year,” Musk told investors in May. “And I think the product, if anything, is better than expectations.”

Musk’s said Tesla planned to make about 250,000 Cybertrucks a year depending on demand, with sales expected to start later this year.
