What we stand for

Our core values

Four principles we've never compromised on — not for a headline, not for a sponsor.

01

No free lunch

No hype cycles, no press-release copy-paste. We report what actually works, what it costs, and what it takes.

02

Builders first

Founders, SME owners and operators spend real money and real time. Our job is to be worth theirs, every time.

03

Proudly pan-African

From Lagos to Nairobi to Joburg — the funding, tools and strategy that travel across the continent's markets.

04

Honest by default

We say what we think, name the trade-offs, and never let a sponsor buy an opinion. Trust is the whole product.

Why we exist

What we're here to do

Our objectives
01

Make funding legible

Demystify how African founders actually raise, from first cheque to Series A — with real numbers, not vibes.

02

Curate the stack

Cut through software noise so operators pick tools that earn their price, not the ones with the biggest ad budget.

03

Champion the builders

Put the continent's founders and SMEs on the record — their playbooks, their failures, and what they'd do again.

The people
