Hyatt Regency Brand Debuts in Zambia with Renovation of The Pamodzi Hotel

Hyatt enters a management agreement with ASB Hotel Properties and Albwardy Investments (Pamodzi Hotels PLC), introducing the full-service Hyatt Regency brand to Lusaka, Zambia. The iconic property, currently operating as The Pamodzi Hotel, will undergo extensive renovations while staying open and will reopen as Hyatt Regency Lusaka The Pamodzi in 2026.

This marks Hyatt’s first Regency property in Zambia, expanding the hotel group’s footprint in a new destination. World of Hyatt members and guests gain more options for earning and redeeming points, as well as tier-qualifying night credits.
