The technology on the Range Rover Evoque 2024 model year has finally been unveiled, and the car now available to order from the price of R1.25 million.
The interior of the latest Range Rover has a design philosophy that is amplified with a new 11.4-inch curved glass touchscreen, which seems to be floating within the driver’s eyeline for improved visibility, while freeing up space for interior storage as well as Wireless Device Charging.

The new centre console offers clients a seamless, comfortable digital experience with regular Software Over The Air drops, powered by Pivi Pro.
With the interface that is compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the vehicle also features twin embedded eSIM technology with a cloud-based architecture to facilitate a full range of connected services including Spotify and Deezer, as well as Amazon Alexa integration.
The 2024 Range Rover Evoque is also offering one of the most sophisticated suites of camera technologies in its class with 3D Surround View, ClearSight Ground View and ClearSight Interior Rear View offering greater driver reassurance. The car is aiming to provide a healthy cabin environment, with one of the most sophisticated interior air quality technologies in its class. Cabin Air Purification Plus is available for the first time on Evoque and an enhancement on the previous system.

Featuring PM2.5 Filtration and CO2 Management that helps promote wellbeing for the whole family, part of the optional Comfort Pack, or standard on Autobiography includes heightened alertness for the driver by monitoring and controlling CO2 levels inside the cabin. It is activated by pressing the Purify button on the Air Quality page within Pivi Pro and works to reduce the level of allergens or particulates inside the vehicle.
Using nanoe X technology to combat pathogens and help significantly reduce odours, bacteria and allergens, the Air Quality Index (AQI) app technology allows clients to monitor outside air quality where they are as well their destination on screen.
Range Rover Managing Director, Geraldine Ingham said the original compact luxury Range Rover for the city is even smarter and more sophisticated than its predecessor.

“The cabin is reductive and serene, with new materials and colourways for effortless luxury. A single curved glass interface and clean air technology allows clients to enjoy the calm and tranquillity that is the hallmark of a Range Rover.”- he added.
Thanks to an electric-only range of up to 62km from its 14.9kWh battery, the P300e electric hybrid gives clients the best of every world, which enables Range Rover Evoque drivers to complete their average daily journeys with zero tailpipe emissions.
Providing a total power output of 227kW, 0-100km/h in 6.4 seconds, the electric hybrid powertrain combines an efficient three-cylinder Ingenium petrol engine with an 80kW electric motor.
The updated battery chemistry offers an improved real-world driving experience, with an expected real-world electric range of up to 48km. On longer journeys, this means a total real-world range of up to 651km with CO2 emissions from 31g/km.
